Summer Camps
What Camp Offers
Our campers spend their days building forts, tending the garden, hiking familiar trails, going on scavenger hunts, and returning again and again to the creek for exploration, observation, and play. Warm days invite wading, stick boats, noticing tiny creatures, and learning how moving water feels and behaves

Program Highlights
Most of our camps serve children ages 4–7, offering mixed-age play, freedom, and exploration similar to our school-year programs.
This year, we also offer two camps for older children (ages 6–8) who are ready for longer hikes, deeper exploration, and growing independence, as well as two introductory camps for younger children (ages 3–4) designed as a gentle first step into outdoor school with extra support, shorter adventures, and familiar rhythms.
Supplies Needed
Daily students should bring:
backpack, water-bottle, lunch and snack
Closed-toe water friendly boot or shoes (mid-calf neoprene boots work great)
Weather appropriate gear (including sun hat)
Check out What to Wear page for detailed gear information.
Ideal Outdoor Food Options
Our campers work up quite an appetite when adventuring. Yet at outdoor school, our snack and lunches are all picnic style. Meaning on any given day we maybe eating over stumps in the firepit, in the forest under trees, or somewhere in between.
Check out FAQ page to learn more about suggested food options
Schedules & Closures
Camps are offered weekly by age group M-R for time slot chosen.
While summer is gorgeous here in the PNW, safety is our top priority. We regularly monitor weather for hazardous conditions (like air quality) and will contact you promptly for any needed closures.
